My stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko was memorable. The spacious room with a stunning view of Lake Chuzenji was a delight. The exceptional service made every detail feel personal, from the warm welcome to my deliciously prepared kaiseki dinner, all while enjoying the beautiful sunset.

No milk provided in onsen.

Excellent location with breathtaking views of Lake Chuzenji.

The hotel is quite remote, requiring lengthy taxi rides, each costing upwards of $40. The yukata provided was excessively long and not suitable for someone of smaller stature. the absence of milk in the onsen resting area was surprising and disappointing, given that it's a common expectation in Japanese onsens.
